They are completely machine washable, but dry flat... or over a clothes rack.

The reason handwoven rag rugs have richer color than some commercial
products ...is that the rags can be a combination of many different colors,
sewn together in a pattern that will give a visual "depth" to the final product.
Because of this "blending" process, it is almost impossible for us to
replicate a rug shown in our current inventory.
